Dylan (Koostachin), a Gwich’in soldier from the Canadian Arctic, is on a military tour in Afghanistan when he is ambushed and captured by Taliban rebels. As he is held prisoner and interrogated, he is reminded of painful memories connected to the love and death of his Inuk cousin, Asana (Whiskeyjack). What begins as a fight for survival becomes a terrifying race against time as Dylan is forced into a situation no soldier ever wants to face.
